Many of us have visited Irvine Lanes sometime over the past 27 years. This local bowling center has played host to children’s birthday parties, corporate meetings, office outings and traditional bowling leagues, under the same ownership, for the past three decades. It continues to be a popular venue for friends, food and fun in the Irvine-Newport area.
The second floor introduces a unique concept in bowling centers. Featuring a number of quiet, private rooms, for elegant meetings and catered special events, the accommodations are perfect for any occasion. Whether a team building event, business meeting, or holiday party, the amenities, menu, and wine list can be tailored to any occasion. The extensive catering menu covers everything from a simple buffet, to elegant dining, all prepared on site by an executive chef. Dessert can be special creations or one of their delectable gelatos. There is extensive parking at no charge.
The 40 lane center has kept up well with the times. Upgrades to the center help it maintain the looks and service level of a nice hotel, while preserving the traditional casual atmosphere. Contemporary décor, and a new state of the art scoring and visual entertainment viewing area are incorporated into the bowlers’ concourse. The 55 inch LCD screens allow fun on the lanes to continue during the big game with buffet catering available for any event. The large beer inventory and extensive spirits selection pampers the patron who wishes to partake of a few refreshments while bowling. A full snack bar menu includes all the fun foods as well as fresh pizza made to order and specialty items.
For those late nights out, Irvine Lanes features Galaxy Bowling, a mixture of music, special lighting and fun from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. every Friday and Saturday nights. The entire center is bathed in black lighting, with the latest music provided throughout the event. Reservations are recommended.
Irvine Lanes has been a fixture on the local event calendar for many years and continues to be the place for friends, food, and fun for a new generation of guests.
